The Parable of Sorting Socks

As we continue our exploration of Jesus’s Parables, I keep wondering what those parables might be if they were written today. What modern day-to-day situations would be used for teaching, if Jesus were speaking today?

There are several environments and situations that come to mind like the grocery store, work, school, our homes. What can we learn from our day-to-day activities and interactions? What analogies can we create from doing laundry, washing dishes, waiting in line to buy groceries, or an interaction with a coworker?

Feel free to share your ideas with me: amy@broadwaychurchkc.org
