Investing in Our Future

Dear Congregation and Friends,

As a community, we are in the midst of discerning our commitment of money, time, and talent to Broadway Church in the coming year. In previous weeks, I’ve invited you to consider where your money goes, to reflect on Broadway’s legacy and what makes us so unique.

Today, I’m inviting you to notice what commitment you’re comfortable with - and then stretch a bit. It is no secret that donations cover about half of our annual budget. The rest is covered by reserve funds from the sale of the previous building near 39th and Broadway.

When I was hired three years ago, we started making entrepreneurial plans to meet the financial needs of the ministry. In our current pandemic existence, all of those plans are changing. We have faith that we will be able to adapt and reach financial solvency before our reserve funds run out - and we might not.

Your increased donation would give us more time to reach financial solvency after the setbacks of 2020 and 2021. If you’ve never donated to Broadway before, this is your invitation! Use the links below to select the option that works for you:

Dear Congregation and Friends, Reminder: You are not a problem to be solved. You are a person, a body, that needs love, nourishment, and support. You may have made a mistake, but you are not a mistak
