The turkey has been carved, potatoes have been mashed and pies have been served. Family around the table, phone calls made, and bellies are stretched out just a little more.
Yes! Thanksgiving Day is upon us and will soon be gone. This is the day that we set aside to give thanks and spend time with our families. Some of us look forward to this day and some of us don't because of the stress it may bring.
Me, I love Thanksgiving! How bout you? However, the Thanksgiving I'm referring to does not only happen in November. I'm referring to everyday of the year!
What are some of the things that you are thankful for each and every day? What has God done for you that makes THIS day a day for giving thanks? Is it food on the table, having a job, family and friends, shelter, breath and life?
Some days will come where we won't feel so grateful because everything is just going so wrong but look up! God will still show God's self faithful, loving, and kind.
So go ahead and enjoy Thanksgiving Day! Today, tomorrow and EVERYDAY!
