Merry Christmas from the Officers of Broadway Church!
First and foremost we would like to thank each and every one of US for OUR continued support both spiritually and financially during this difficult year of transition and growth. We would not be Broadway Church without US.
This is a difficult letter to write as no one really likes to talk about church budget and pledges, and determining how much to pledge can be difficult
2 Corinthians 9:7 says , “Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”
The church relies on the pledge forms for determining a budget. Without the pledge forms it is very difficult to make a realistic budget. We can use pledge information from 2021, but this information would be misleading due to the pandemic, and using 2020 information is unrealistic. Which leads us back to the pledge form, which is our best way of determining what a 2022 budget would look like. You can fill out a paper form on Sunday or click here to fill out the online form.
The church is currently on a shoestring budget and we are discussing strategic and creative ways to reduce Broadway’s overhead even more, and hope to have a plan of action to present to you at the January 2022 Congregational meeting.
Our hope and goal by receiving your pledge form will allow us to focus on projects that will increase Broadway’s presence and increase our overall attendance.
Isaiah 40:31 says this about hope:
“But those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.”
We hope to receive your pledge form as soon as possible so that we can effectively budget for our Church. Fill out a paper form on Sunday or click here to fill out the online form.
Thank you for your cooperation from the Broadway Church Board.
We hope see you Sunday,
Laura Trimble, Paula Gilliland, Kelcie McKenney, Eric Shoemaker, Erica Sloan
